SpaceX Dragon Capsule returns to Earth: Dropped in the Atlantic Ocean

The Crew Dragon Capsule of SpaceX launched on March 2 2019. Now, on 8th March 2019, this astronaut capsule had made a return to earth and has a successful splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean. So it has completed a journey of its 6 days test flight and it was launched from Kennedy Space Centre. It the first time in 50 years a space capsule was redesigned for the astronauts.

The splashdown of the capsule occurred at about 13:45 GMT. GO Searcher which is a boat was waiting to recover the capsule. The objective of the mission is to demonstrate as if it could carry astronauts to the International Space Station. So it was launched on the top of Falcon 9 Rocket and launched in 2010 for the first time. Also, it has a success rate of  97% and in which the Falcon 9 family have been launched 70 times over 9 years.

NASA is one of the leading partners of  SpaceX in space programmes. According to NASA, the Crew Dragon Capsule builts a new era in American excellence. It is in a tweet by NASA administrator “Jim Bridenstine”. Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are the first astronauts to fly in a crew dragon, as selected by NASA. So, the teams of SpaceX and NASA has done an amazing job by blending their technological skills and experiences and make this success possible.
